Why I Created This Mentorship:

In 2016, I moved to New York City fresh out of Skidmore College with a degree in theater and dance, chasing the dream of being a full-time actor. I was juggling side gigs, building a creative network, and trying to survive in one of the most intense cities in the world. My life was full and exciting, but even in my twenties, I was running on empty.

Then, in 2019, I survived a traumatic event that turned my world upside down. On the day of the event, two women showed up for me in a way that I will never forget: they advocated for me when I couldn’t advocate for myself. I remember walking away from their care and saying to both of them, “You have the most important job in the world.”

That moment led me to doula work. I paused my acting career, a heartbreaking but necessary choice, and signed up for a 6-week doula training. It was the beginning of a new path that would change my entire life.

Fast forward to now:
I’m back in my creative work as an actor and writer, and I also run a thriving doula business that sustains me both financially and spiritually. But getting here wasn’t easy. In the beginning, I felt overwhelmed, underpaid, and unsure how to make it all work. I took on pro bono clients, made costly mistakes, and wasted energy trying to figure it out alone.

That’s why I built A Bridge To Birth Work: a 6-week mentorship for newly certified doulas who are ready to build a business with intention, clarity, and real support.

This isn’t about hustle or one-size-fits-all success. It’s about helping you collapse the time between certification and running a business that’s profitable, ethical, and aligned with your life.

Week 3: Finding Clients
How to attract and sign aligned, paying clients
Week 4: Confident Client Care
How to structure prenatal meetings, navigate births, and set boundaries that hold.
Week 5: Longevity
Building nourishing offerings, getting glowing testimonials, and staying booked.
Week 6: Integration
Your custom 3-month action plan + closing circle.
